All on 4
If your dentures are becoming uncomfortable and tiring, we have a fast, efficient and comfortable solution that will give you a second chance at the feeling of a mouth full of stable, permanent teeth.
All-on-4 is a revolutionary and highly advanced new method that allows a full mouth of new teeth to rest with complete, proven stability on only four implants.
Here's what it involves:
- State-of-the-art technologies such as CT Scanners are used to plot the location of just four implants in your jaw (four implants in the same jaw).
- These implants form a sturdy base for a full arch of dentures to be secured on top of.
- The dentures will then be permanent. They look and function just like natural teeth.
- You walk out on the same day with a beautiful, natural, functional smile!
At our practice, we understand the impact a smile can have. We would never send you out without a complete smile. That’s why, usually, we will fit you with a temporary bridge (which looks identical to your natural teeth and functions just as well) before we add your permanent denture six months later.
We also offer sedation options for nervous patients. Dentistry doesn’t have to be frightening! With modern sedatives, many patients will hardly know they’ve been in surgery.

Treatable Cases

Same Day All on 4 Dental Implants Treatment
“This patient had missing teeth and those that remained were failing. After discussing with the patient, it was decided to remove the failing teeth and rehabilitate with same day all on 4 dental implants.
This treatment is usually carried out in 1 day (after a few preparatory appointments for moulds, x-rays, etc). The failing teeth were removed and implants place on the same day, with a temporary bridge (fixed teeth) attached also on the same day. Following a period of 3 to 6 months, moulds were taken and the definitive bridge placed.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who is a good candidate for All-on-4 implants?
Patients who are missing multiple teeth, have significant tooth decay, or suffer from advanced gum disease may be suitable candidates. It is particularly useful for people who lack enough bone mass for traditional dental implants, as the angled placement of the implants helps to maximize available bone.
Is the All-on-4 procedure painful?
While patients are under anesthesia during the procedure, there may be mild discomfort after the procedure as the jaw heals. Pain management options are provided, and most patients report manageable discomfort in the days following surgery.
How long do All-on-4 implants last?
With proper care and maintenance, All-on-4 implants can last many years, often 10-20 years or more. The implants themselves (titanium posts) are designed to be permanent, while the prosthetic teeth may need to be replaced every 10-15 years due to wear and tear.
Are there any risks or complications?
Like any surgery, there are risks involved, such as infection, implant failure, nerve damage, and sinus problems (in the upper jaw). However, these complications are rare, and the procedure has a high success rate when performed by an experienced surgeon.
What are the benefits of All-on-4 implants?
- Quick recovery time compared to traditional implants
- Cost-effective alternative to individual implants for a full mouth restoration
- Fixed teeth that function like natural teeth
- Improved comfort, function, and confidence compared to dentures
Can I get All-on-4 implants if I have gum disease or bone loss?
In many cases, patients with gum disease or bone loss can still qualify for All-on-4 implants, as the procedure is designed to work for patients with limited bone. Bone grafting may be needed in some cases to ensure a strong foundation for the implants.
