Rocio holds a European Masters Degree in Orthodontics by The Catholic University of Murcia in 2023 and PGcert in Sleeping apnoea in 2021.
Rocio provides efficient solutions to common and complex orthodontic problems for children and adults. She collaborates closely with general dental practitioners to provide personalised treatment plans and ensure her patients receive the best care.
Rocio practices at Mouth South Quay and Mouth Nine Elms, providing a range of orthodontic treatment modalities including fixed appliances (labial or lingual), removable appliances (Invisalign or Angel Aligner), functional appliances and uses Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) on select cases.
Rocio can be a part of your pre-restorative case planning to create the ideal space for crowns/ veneers/ composite bonding/ implants. Rocio provides interceptive orthodontics for children and is also an Invisalign First provider. Rocio is also fluent in Spanish.
Treatments provided:
- Adult braces (metal and ceramic) and Invisalign; aesthetics and functional problems. Pre-restorative, for example treatments to create overjet for veneers or composite bonding, prosthetic space for implants and restorations, etc. For very complex cases TAD`s (Temporary anchorage devices/ mini implants) can be used when needed.
- Lingual braces for mild aesthetic cases.
- Adolescent braces and aligners, once that the permanent dentition is completed.
- Interceptive orthodontics for children; functional appliances for mandibular advancement, expansion, orthodontic facemask (Petite), 2×4 for anterior crossbite, etc.
- Angel Aligner Kids from early mixed dentition corrections of crossbites, mandibular advancements, etc
- Retention, bonded lingual retainer and removable retention
